remember how I was talking about Journey and office music? Well HOLY FUCRAPALOT and no word of a lie, I hear Journey EVERY SINGLE DAY in this office, and sometimes TWICE. It is ALWAYS Don’t Stop Believin (dropping the g from Believing makes it tuff I guess, shrug), no doubt the fact that those kids on that Glee show did some messed up retard version of that song has encouraged idiots to make it surge to the top of the charts again approx 30 years later, god people are drones aren’t they? Are Journey reunion touring yet? Oh wait, I think they are one of those loser bands who tour minus their identifiable singer, in a desperate attempt to avoid becoming furniture salesmen, even though Mr. Nose was the only band member anyone could name (Wait, I’m wrong, Randy mutherfuglingidol Jackson was a member for 1 year, HUH?)
Anyway, Don’t stop Believin is not really that great of a song no matter who sings it, and I can tell you through repeated forced listening it makes you want to stop believing or at least doubt a little bit.
By the way I watched that first episode of Glee the other night online just to see what all the hype is about and I shut it off when they started singing this song, my opinion is that they are trying too hard and the show wasn’t very funny really, in typical fashion each character had to be an over the top stereotype so that stupid viewers could figure out which one was the gay one and the overachieving possibly jewish or something one and so on and so forth, more subtly real characters are too HARD for the average avid tv turdo to process I guess. This is why Freaks and Geeks (which was the only fairly realistic high school show I’ve seen and more genuinely entertaining on top of that) was cancelled; it never delivered the obvious punch line the audience probably sat there counting down to.
