I am basically expert at the art of cranking up the edibility factor of store bought pizzas. This one was Deelicious. The secret is adding classy ingredients like roasted red peppers and artichoke hearts. Now you know.



We had a really great day yesterday, starting with a walk to get coffee and check out the cheese shop. Bought a yummy sheep's cheese and noticed this fine example of exterior decor along the way. Yes, it IS a fat lady and a fat dog drinking wine together. No, I'm not sure why.



After this we went to take some more abandoned house photos which I'll post later. It was raining and dim out, but this actually provided a reasonably interesting mood to the shots I think. I love having a boyfriend who has an interest in common with me. A quick stop at the library to pick up Frontier House (which we marathon watched last night) then decided spur of the moment to stop for a little Chinese lunch. I think I might have to wait for another day before trying any of the intestine dishes.



Food was good though, and super cheap, Szechuan rice and leek pancakes, also spring rolls which were eaten before being photographed. All this (there were 2 more leek pancakes on that plate originally and that pile of rice was about three times bigger) plus a pot of tea was only $15. Bargoons! Figured it was a good sign that only Asians were eating there too.



Cut through the mall to get home... I just love it when I see dedicated people working hard, doing a good job. Bank machine security guards texting on cell phones (oh cool, hers is PINK!) and completely IGNORING buddy pulling cash out of the machine. Good work and gold stars you lazy oafs... if only I was a little more criminally minded you would have made my day.
