Let it fly in the breeze and get caught in the trees

Does it seem like my hair is always in my face? I suppose more times than not it is, I don't brush it as often as I probably should and that means I probably often look extremely bedraggled but whatever.

I think i've got my hair mellowed out to a decent brunette shade, not as dark as it looks here and not as hideous red-brown as it was last week. For now, I'm happy with it. I do know this, I look horrible with lighter shades of hair, at least I really think I do. Funny, because I read somewhere that you can always go as light as your lightest hair as a child, but that makes no sense because when I was four I was BLONDE and not just a little, but really and truly blonde (even blonder than in the photo below, when it started to turn a bit darker) and there is NO way that would work now, at least I don't think it would. Maybe?

funny that until very recently I still had that same haircut and it was about as even!

hmm i'm not sure about the whole "going as light as your lightest hair color as a child" as a toddler my hair was platinum blonde. but I don't think that would be such a good look now. I think about one or two shades lighter than your eye brows is a good rule.

Aww blonde baby! My brothers hair did same thing: started off super light and is now super dark. Weird!
