Started out with a couple of apps that would upset some people. I never realized I would love Foie Gras so much. I've never eaten it before on the grounds that I was uncomfortable with how it is obtained... anyway, it was very tasty, probably won't eat it again or at least won't make a habit of it as I still feel a bit weird about it and it seems like an unnecessary food. But did I say SO GOOD?
We also had the rabbit paté, also extremely good. I don't really have that cute thing with rabbits so much, I had one as a pet and he was a bit of a brat, anyway, not eating things because they are cute... well ok, I might be a bit guilty of that, I mean chickens don't bother me at all as they aren't cute, lamb, cute... whatever anyway, rabbit paté gets a thumbs up times two.
O.K. the main event, Steak Frites, can I just tell you that pile of potato goodness is amazing? Every one crispy and delish. And the steak with the red wine butter melting all over it (and done rare, is there any other way?) is a decadent treat. Oh... and Monday nights? It's half price. We're talking $10. Perfect deal.
Wrap it up with a really great Crème Brûlée. LOVE the pretty little pattern the chef made around the dish, Strawberry/Peach/Cassis so pretty. and the sugary top was amazing goodness. YUM!
So there you go, we are dorks who go out every Monday with various friends to try different meals around the city, we've had this one before but some things are worth repeating.

2 dirty hippies blowing your mind:
