Humility. Is it the one thing that makes people likeable? I kind of think so. Braggarts get tiring don't they? I mean really and honestly physically and mentally tiring.
I've been around people who always have something to say about everything, who apply titles and tags to THEMSELVES and then constantly need to remind everybody. I know that it's probably just a reflection of a deep insecurity, but that doesn't make it any less annoying or worse, unlikeable. It doesn't take much for self-confidence to give way to egotism.
I guess we all want to matter, but I think if you catch yourself shoving your "mattering" down everyone's throat all the time, you might want to step back and take a good look at yourself.
Sigh, humans.
3 dirty hippies blowing your mind:
I think we've all known people like that.
holy shit you pulled out the exact thoughts I have about a few people I love right now. It takes all of my might not to blow up and say exactly this to them.
I have a friend who is EXACTLY like that; he drives us all bananas. Totally picking up what you're putting down.
