so I bought the dress, maybe it will help keep me on my exercise routine? I've been doing well so far, will use the gym tonight, been eating pretty well too. Definitely noticing a difference already, in just a couple of weeks clothing is a bit looser and bloat is gone.
My body is actually very receptive to exercise and diet change, I've always known this and you'd think that this would make me more motivated. My body wants to be fit.

4 dirty hippies blowing your mind:
I've been exercising too but I haven't noticed any changes besides going to bed earlier. What kind of exercises are you doing, if you don't mind me asking?
sure, no problem! My routine has been evolving but right now it's this.
30 minutes on the treadmill. I walk the first 5 minutes at about 3.5 mph. At the 5 minute mark I run for 2 minutes at 4.5 - 5 mph, then go back to walking for 5. I keep alternating doing this. Treadmill is also set to randomize incline. Eventually, I will probably go up to 45 minutes. My knees are iffy, so I don't want to overdo it.
I also wear a 2LB wrist weight on each arm. I know some people disagree with doing this for balance and form reasons, but I'm actually pretty steady on the mill, so it works.
I'm also doing 3 sets of 15 of 3 different arm/shoulder exercises I found online. I can post the link for you later (it's bookmarked at home) if you want. They have other exercises too. I haven't added leg and butt exercises yet (beyond the treadmill) but will be next week.
So I do this every other day and sometimes more often. But at least every other day. When it gets warmer out, I'll be doing some hikes again too. I'm also planning to do Yoga since we bought a few Groupons to get a deal locally.
I really don't like gym style exercise, but this is manageable and with music nearly tolerable. I pick music that matches the speed of what I'm doing on the treadmill and it makes the time pass really fast.
OH and if I watch TV, then I do arm exercises with the weights while watching sometimes. It's not very organized maybe? But it seems to work for me.
OH and the biggest change I've made is basically removing all alcohol from my diet. I will have ONE beer maybe once a week and sometimes a couple of glasses of red wine on the weekend. NO mixed drinks and no pop. Funny thing is, since I stopped smoking I've also seemed to have lost any real desire to drink. So they were very intertwined for me.
I drink a ginger tea every morning. Also drinking coconut water and plain water or apple juice sometimes.
I avoid fried foods as much as I can and don't eat meat that often, other than fish.
Once a week I think it's pretty OK to sort of just eat what you want. but just that one day.
I don't think deprivation works, so it helps if you actually like healthy stuff like fruits/veggies/nuts etc.
Fortunately I do!
good choice. I would have prompted you to buy it, but then again, you know me. :)
June is a long time. My emaciation goal is April 1st. panic! panic! water! gym!
