I got no cobweb on my shoe

I'm not overly happy with the nightime "moonlight" photos. I don't think I thought about the process enough before hiking my ass out to the woods in the dark to try taking shots.

This one is OK, I mean it's fairly interesting and I suppose sort of magical in a just barely kind of way. I like that the stars showed up.

This was a fairly long exposure with a "guess" as to whether it would be in focus or not as I couldn't see the tree through the viewfinder it was so dark. Of course auto focus wouldn't work in that light either, so manual it was. Light source is exclusively the moon. This is why I was saying a powerful flashlight would have been helpful; I could have set the focus by shining the tree and then shut it off and gone from there.

I really am not keen on the bus photos I took at all.

Light source on the left is the moon. Light source on the right is a tiny headlamp; because of the long exposure, the light looks A LOT brighter on that side then it really was. Could have done with less of it.

I suppose what is fun though is the experimenting. I have some more shots to work on later, we'll see what I can pull out of them.

I think these are pretty cool

Yeah I really like these. Lots of great shots are just happy accidents anyway.

Nice idea about using a flashlight to focus; I'll have to remember that.

gorgeous photos; love the deep blues.

God that looks like the "Futhur" bus Kesey had buried in the Oregon slime for so many years.
