Did some snowshoeing last night with a friend, YES me, I went OUTSIDE and did something in the cold! I would have taken photos but it was dark. Was pretty cool actually. Lots of stars out and a deer hopping across the trail and snowshoes make going up and down hills pretty easy if they're slippery. Best of all, NOT sore today which means I've been doing enough that I don't have that "person who barely moves and therefore aches whenever they do" thing happening.
I can't get over how many people seem to think this whole Charlie Sheen is just amazing, like he's some kind of amazing magical wonderful god who is in control and doing everything just right and is someone to admire and envy. How sad that our society rewards and enjoys the antics of someone who clearly has mental issues, addiction issues so bad that his teeth have fallen out, and children who are bound to be so deeply messed up that it's criminal. The man looks the fool, a selfish, desperate for attention, overindulged fool who needs to be locked away and forced to rehabilitate his stupid damn ass if only for the sake of his poor kids.
I'm so tired of the concept that money/fame means you behave any way you want and in that case it's admirable and great. When the average person behaves this way, their friends disappear, they lose their job and they end up on the street crazy and begging.
OK, that's all I have to say about that moron. OH, except to add that his show ISN'T even remotely funny. The fact that so many people think it is says a lot about society too.
People are idiots.

It is entirely possible that he is about to end up on the street crazy and begging. He seems more than just manic. He seems panicked. He said in an interview once that just because he makes a lot of money doesn't mean he saves any. I suspect he doesn't, and with his show in the deep freeze, he's about to be flat broke very soon. His talk about going back to work and having lots of projects sounded like it was more for his own benefit, ie denial, than anything else. I mean, seriously, does anyone think there's going to be a third sequel to his baseball movie at his age? I suppose anything is possible, but I'm having trouble seeing it. He seems like he's bluffing and scared to me. I can't see any movie makers wanting him and his drama on their set right now. And then he threw out that "you guys really messed up. Bad. There's gonna be a lawsuit and I'm gonna be asking for a LOT of money. You'd better settle now before we get to court." That's a guy in a panic.
I'd have to agree with you. If you actually pay attention and don't just take his insane blustering at face value there IS a real sense of desperation behind it. I love how EVERYONE else is at fault and are the cause of his situation, CLASSIC addict behaviour.
Of course, you're always going to see mass numbers of dim men propping this fool up for his behaviour, because who doesn't want to fuck baggage-laden porn stars, lose their teeth, waste their talent and their money, develop paranoia inducing addictions and destroy their children's lives? Because OF COURSE screwing a porn star and therefore looking like a big man (?) is worth all that.
It's the American dream (or at least Maxim's). GIANT EYE ROLL.
NO shit. BTW not all of men admire this tool. Leave that shit to those with no fucking self esteem or balls of there own. Two and half men is as funny as beating your own fucking head with a 2x4.
