Still dying today, I seriously screwed my knee, feel a bit annoyed now that in reality on my FIRST day of the boot camp I just had to jump in and go hard and there wasn't really any guidance on form and I obviously overdid it AND did something incorrectly, enough that my knee is just bloody fucked. I WILL try and I get motivated by challenge and all that but hmm...this kind of sucked in retrospect. I even gave myself dried out lung bronchitis (OK, I don't know if that is a real thing, but that's the best way to describe it) from breathing extreme through the mouth.
I've done Yoga before so I know it's more my pace but I don't think it's going to give me the sort of total body definition I want, although maybe I am wrong.
I'm not that bad off, this is an awkward angle by the way, yes can use some tone and maybe the butt could come up a bit, arms need some definition but I don't want to be crippled in this pursuit. Nice granny bra, jesus.
3 dirty hippies blowing your mind:
that's something I don't like about those boot camp style fitness programs. They almost seem dangerous because so many inexperienced people can get hurt.
same here. I went to the gym with a girl full of herself thinking she knew how to train. I screwed up both of my knees, plateaued in less then six weeks, and didnt do a damn thing correctly. I am bitter.
Yep, it seems like this format is just about the "go hard" thing and doesn't really seem too focused on form or injury. I can imagine a TON of people never go back a second time.
I didn't think I'd be one of those people, but now...I think I might be.
