I'm Number 1,004,300 or something as important as that

the idea of winning an "award" for a personal blog is frankly quite ludicrous.  I was nominated a few months ago but god knows why.

It's kind of like someone putting gold stars in your diary isn't it. 

Granted, I've been nominated in the Photography blog category as well, but I don't know that I'm devoted enough to sharing that here regularly or in any helpful way to deserve that one either.

You know, I started this blog as an outlet, and that's what it has continued to be all these years. You know, a dump for all my chaos. A place to write without effort.  Yeah, you know that kind of thing.  Not a job and no desire for it to be.  Not a stepping stone to any sort of anything, I have a lot of stepping stones outside of this venue.  It inadvertently makes me a few coins here and there but nothing you would call income.  I don't expect it to anyway.

So yeah, it's moderately amusing to me, particularly the personal blog thing as there are hoards of people who take themselves and the act of blogging their every move WAY more seriously than I ever could.
