Talking Turkey

Good morning. Isn't it funny that we say that, like obsessively? GOOD morning. We just always want things to be cool and copacetic and groovy or whatever you want to call it, but a lot of the time it just isn't. It's a meaningless statement anyway isn't it, we don't really even think about it, we just say it.

Went to Chuck's Burger Bar last night. Pretty good. This is right before it got busy, steady traffic for a Monday night. Since I'm not a restaurant reviewer, that link leads to someone who is much better at it than I, and with lovely photos to boot.  I had a turkey, brie and pear burger with cranberry and onion rings.  The burgers are HUGE!  They also have a ton of  different kinds of Poutine (pronounced Poo-tin not poo-teen, thanks)  if that's your thing.  Clearly this isn't dietary.  One of the burgers is made of ground bacon (ugh).

Ha, nice shot, like I've never taken a damn pic before.  I just really wanted to eat, so I snapped this impatiently as you can see. The only memory of this I really needed was in my belly.  I had to cut it in half to manage it.

I powered my way through this monster plate like a champ (if champ really means hog).

Today needs to be healthier, because even though I went for the Turkey burger still...at that size, the health benefits are lost for sure.
