Flowers in my Cup, Flowers in my Field

so yep, so much to do at the new house but I'm loving every minute of it.  Soon enough I will pull out my real camera and to hell with these cheapo iphone shots!

I've been putting these in vases around the house, flowers, REAL flowers from my own (currently rather dishevelled) garden, this is a revelation after a decade in a condo and several years in apartments before that!

I adore the corn field right next door even though it's bound to yield some furry rodent friends soon enough.  Taller than me and stretching on forEVER!  It's incredibly peaceful and not even remotely scary.



 I also collect tea cups, did I ever mention this rather granny-like activity of mine?  I scored a couple I really like at an antique shop in town.  So yeah, when we have tea you can totally pick out your favourite cup and everything.  Trust me, this is gonna be the next hipster trend.

Possibly the only thing the iphone photography is really good for is blurring the edges of reality on self-portraits.  This makes me look like I have red hair.  I have had red hair.  Hmm...maybe I'd like red hair again?
