Call me Uncultured

but I honestly find a lot of famous art absolutely butt ugly.  I don't care if it's worth money, I wouldn't want it hanging in my house.  Here are some examples.

Frieda Kahlo - Self Portrait

What the EFF?  This is HIDEOUS!  Am I supposed to like this because it's so ugly?  Is it pity art admiration?  I DO NOT care if this is talented, the end result is grotesque and nasty.  Why do you have a monkey and a cat on your shoulders?  Are they your parents?  It sure looks like it.

Uhhhhhhhhhh.....a baby with a hairy, bushy adult head destroying that woman-monster's breast...(splashes vinegar in eyes) that's better.

You know what?  I don't even think I need to look further.  I officially think Frieda Kahlo made the ugliest famous art ever.

WHAAAAAT?  Then someone (Cindy Millett) goes and does their own interpretation and manages to make it EVEN UGLIER still?   Burn it, burn it NOW!!!

Art, why must you make me cry?

Hahaha! I so wish you were a art critic so you could denounce all the ugly masterpieces! Have you seen much of Picasso's work? You should have a look at the paintings he did of his girlfriends.

Haha. I love this post. Did you see the movie? It's pretty good.

The movie is good. Frida's never been my favorite artist, that's for sure, but I get far more enraged with "minimalism"--like a big, black canvas for example. UGH. FUCK YOU.
