how do you get ahead? Doesn't it seem like the over confident people who really think they are good at things (and often aren't really all that shit hot) actually end up getting the opportunities? Or is that not true, am I mistaken? If I'm not mistaken, how on earth can this be? Or do I just have exceedingly high expectations for things and maybe these people are actually good?

Actual Talent - 20%
Network/Connections - 30%
Looks/Money - 30%
Luck/Chance - 20%
i think that a high score in the first three buys you a better shot at being in the right place at the right time for the fourth.
