Instant Gratification

SO I'm going to be doing some Polaroid shots soon, I've ordered 8 shots of Black and White film for my camera, EXPENSIVE but still less than the going rate on Ebay so I'm slightly ahead of the game.  If you happen to be interested in giving the Polaroid thing a whirl, I'd suggest checking out these guys as they are making film for Polaroid cameras and the prices are better than you can find trying to buy expired genuine film.

Unfortunately, they don't make colour film for my 600 model(s) (thus explaining my B&W purchase), so I think my next purchase is going to be an SX-70, which is a pretty funky looking little number, like this:

they make a colour film for that camera that from what I can see, delivers gorgeous and amazing retro colour results.  I'm excited.

I always loved the look of polaroid photos, they really remind me of being a kid. One of the first cameras I had was a Polaroid. I remember taking what seems like hundreds of shots with it!

It's sad that it disappeared, especially when so many people are still interested. Did you hear about the new Lady Gaga polaroid? No doubt it will help revive the brand but at that cost?
