meh. Nobody reads this crap anymore. For interaction etc. Tumblr is definitely where it's at. Blogging....eh, not that I'm a trendsetter or anything, but I think it might be on it's way out in the next few years. Especially since most people under 25 don't want to read a bunch of crap online. They are way more into quick bites of info.
Just a feeling I have.

12 dirty hippies blowing your mind:
SOME of us still read things that are longer than two words and a photo. Just sayin'.
I know, I know...but I think there's only about 10 of us left.
I think blogging will always have a place, honestly. There will always be people (IMO) who need more than a picture or a sentence to express themselves.
While I agree that blogging may have peaked pre-Facebook, while there may not be 75 million active blogs in 2014, the millions that are active will probably be of better quality and out there for the right reasons.
yours will always be enjoyable, i would bet
I read your blog!
But if it helps, maybe break each post into hundreds of one-sentence posts. That'll teach 'em.
I hope you're hunch is wrong this time, the Tumblr train isn't quite for me right now. I still love blogs, writing and reading them.
the effort it takes to articulate yourself effectively is worth it. if you are writing for "an audience", then being dissatisfied with 10 readers (several of whom are real-life friends) could be frustrating, yes. but you have always maintained that the blog is your public diary, and as such why would you deprive yourself of that forum? unless you feel that you are ready to give up on any form of writing and express yourself differently (ie: through photography) ... then i could see it being being totally justified. but then that would mean you were giving up on an aspect of your writing, which would surprise me.
just my two sense.
yeah. I exaggerate a little, there are more than 10 readers of this stupid thing...quite a few more actually, but few who interact which of course sometimes makes you feel like you are yelling into a well on those occasions when you write something that invites conversation.
But, no doubt I will always return here after a few days break...I'm too much of a big mouth not to.
i feel the way with my radio show all the time ... yer like, "who is even listening???". and then you get a message from someone who is, and it reminds you that your labour of love does not go unregarded :)
I'm still here too!
thanks guys, I appreciate that you still bother!
I read several times per week.
