I decided to email you I've been reading your blog for a few years now but never really commented. I read the post where you said that you thought nobody was reading anymore and I wanted to tell you that we are.

I think your blog is a great mix of art and insight (you have talent your work is very life affirming, does that make sense?  Anyway, joyful), sometimes silly, sometimes serious and usually thoughtful. Its fasinating to see the way your writing and your life has changed over time.  Not too many people keep up blogs for any amount of time and still have people reading.

I hope you keep writing because I will keep reading.  Keep taking pictures too.

I don't really get a lot of email from people who read my blog, so this was lovely to receive.  I'm glad you like what I'm doing, blogs are really such selfish pursuits, at least the personal ones; I think it can be a real challenge to be true to yourself and not come off as a self-absorbed twat.  Ha, so if you don't think I do, well I'm glad and I appreciate your kind words!
